The Sociology of Garbage

This picture came in the newsletter in my water bill for this month. (Do you get glossy photographs in your water bill? I'd love to know.) From a distance, it's a fairly boring image advertising the city recycling program. However, if you look closer it's a fascinating insight into exactly what kind neighborhood it is where I live. (I'm assuming it's local; the correspondence is just too good for it not to be.)
